A restaurant with forty people on the schedule pays the same as one with twelve. Staff never pay, and nobody is counted by the seat.
one plan, one price
Everything is in the one plan, including every compliance warning, training and the iPhone app for your team. It is free during early access; when billing begins, you hear it from a person at least 30 days before anything is charged.

Overtime alerts, rest and break warnings, minors, holidays — the reason this product exists is not going to be the reason you upgrade. Elsewhere in this market, real-time overtime alerts sit on a plan above the one most restaurants buy.
By email, at least 30 days ahead, and nothing is charged until the owner chooses a plan. Nobody in the early group wakes up to a card charge.
Restaurants plan by the season more than by the year. The first ones using it will tell us whether a yearly price is worth offering, and what it should be.
Most restaurants we talk to clock in on the POS. A clock would change what the product is — a schedule priced before the week is a projection; a pay period closed after it is a record — and until one is built, we are not going to guess what it is worth.
And what it does not have, said once more so nobody discovers it in month two: no time clock, no actual hours, no POS or payroll integration, no Android app yet, and no predictive scheduling rules.
